I thought Party was her best, because it had a lot of drama, which has been missing from her most recent stuff. But sometimes I find her weird voices compelling, it's as if she is singing on behalf of people who can't.
Some new music for me thanks, Shopie Hunter WOW grateful for your insights aka Aldous saw her live was disappointed. Somehow didn't touch me. Wanted to like her damn it.
I’m relieved someone else struggles with Aldous Harding. I enjoy her kooky hooks when she ups the bpm enough and the sound of the new one is certainly very warm and intimate, benefitting from vocals less mannered than usual. But, but, but, she’s still stingey with her hooks and the language is all too private for me. There’s nothing in her cut and paste that busts out of her weirdo cloister.
We do part ways on Olivia Rodrigo - apart from a couple of Swiftian complaints at the start of the new one I reckon she gets to lift-off pretty promptly on the rest and I always know exactly what she’s rather eloquently on about too. At album 3 we must conclude she has the skill, work ethic and self-awareness required to stay on top.

Concur on Amaarae though. Good stuff.
