One of the things I like about Hackney Diamonds is the way that 60's folky Lady Jane chords and We Love You harmonies are used as choruses over grungy riffs that would once have been left stark vamps - that's a nice touch; similarly Jagger's voice has a softer, Between The Buttons vibe at times
